National Corn to Ethanol Research Center

The National Corn to Ethanol Research Center (NCERC) is the only facility in the world at which corn ethanol, cellulosic ethanol, advanced biofuels, and specialty chemical research is conducted simultaneously. Located in Edwardsville, IL, the Center supports a diverse clientele, including industry, researchers, academia, government, ethanol producers and others to provide third-party validation and commercial testing of products, technologies, concepts and ideas.

Moving The Brand Forward…

Although successfully conducting detailed research for over 15 years that has led to hundreds of new products and over $4B in commercial sales for its clients, NCERC lacked a clear and defined branding message and strategy. Marketicity was brought in to work with the Center’s key stakeholders, research leads and leadership team to solidify a brand positioning, “Commercialization Through Confidence” that reinforced the brand’s truest core benefit. The agency was then tasked with extending this positioning through the development of key marketing support materials to promote this truly unique research facility. The agency is currently working with the Center to extend this positioning into a new website to be launched in late 2020.
